Our history

Camplify Holdings Limited (CHL) is a global technology and adventure travel company. It was formed in 2021 and now consists of three travel brands: Camplify, PaulCamper and MyWay.

Camplify, which was founded in Newcastle, Australia, in 2015, is a peer-to-peer van-sharing platform operating across Australia, New Zealand, the UK and Spain. It has been identified as one of Australia’s fastest-growing companies, placing #9 in the AFR’s Fast 100 (2021) and #4 in AFR’s Most Innovative Companies (2022).

PaulCamper – another peer-to-peer van-sharing platform – was founded in Germany in 2013 and has since expanded to Austria, the Netherlands and the UK. It was acquired by CHL Group in 2022 and continues to operate from its base in Berlin.

MyWay, which was launched in 2023, provides a suite of insurance products to RV owners and hirers. This gives them the confidence to fully engage with CHL Group’s peer-to-peer platforms.

Together, these three brands form a global family focused on elevating outdoor experiences through scalable tech solutions. They’re transforming the way people across Australia, New Zealand, the UK and Europe access the outdoors and explore the world around them.

Our Brands

The CHL brands, which operate across Australia, New Zealand, Europe and the UK, benefit from CHL's innovative and scalable tech solutions.

Camplify

Camplify is one of the world’s largest, most trusted van-sharing platforms. Born out of a desire to make van life accessible to all, Camplify connects van owners with travellers in Australia, New Zealand, Spain and the UK.

MyWay

Launched in 2023, MyWay is CHL’s global insurance division. By insuring Camplify and PaulCamper hirers and owners through MyWay, CHL can ensure all parties remain protected throughout their camping experience.

PaulCamper

PaulCamper is a peer-to-peer van-sharing platform connecting van owners with travellers. Based in Berlin, PaulCamper has grown from a single campervan named Paul (of course) to a multinational operation with a presence in Germany, Austria, the UK and the Netherlands.
